A special exhibition is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin. Supported by Channel One and personally by Konstantin Lvovich Ernst, a video installation made from fragments of the film "Challenge" - the first feature film shot in space - will be presented. The exhibition will also feature photographs of Earth from space by Oleg Novitsky. For the first time in an exhibition format, viewers will see a letter addressed by Novitsky to the younger generation, written aboard a spacecraft. The exhibition will be complemented by a triptych of photographs in the author's style by Italian artist Enzo Rozamila titled "Firsts" (portraits of Y. Gagarin, V. Tereshkova, Y. Peresild). On the opening day, there will be a presentation by Daria Pushkova (director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Rome) of Marco Donato's book "La Cosmonautica Sovietica a Messina".
The existential theme is reflected in the exhibition "Faces of Europe and Faces of Chengdu" by artists Hiao Quan and Carsten Sander, prepared with the participation of Janine Arndt, director of the Urban Nation Museum in Berlin, and Jasmine Wong, director of Interkaltje. The photographs will present images of outstanding individuals in various sports and arts from central and provincial parts of Europe and the Chengdu region. The exhibition emphasizes the spiritual connection between the peoples of the East and the West, their close historical ties, and cultural permeation. In dialogue with the international exhibition is the project "Surrounded by Music and Stars". The author of the photographs, Evgeny Evtyukhov, focuses on the faces of art figures constituting Russia's cultural heritage, illuminating the world as stars with their talent. Among the portrait images are E. Obraztsova, Y. Temirkanov, V. Gergiev, D. Matsuev, I. Abrazakov, Y. Bashmet, A. Garifullina, and young participants of the Grand Piano Competition.
The special exhibition "Beyond Time and Space" by the SNEG Gallery of Alexander Filippov will present works by Russian authors on the theme of space in Venice and on the Russian blockchain platform in NFT format.
Curator Deserie Meze from Brussels (Nunconsulting) presents works by artists from different continents reflecting the spiritual traditions of peoples and the ethnic self-identification of the author. The exhibition's hallmark is a painting by an artist from Iran, "Tehran Bazaar," in an abstract style with solar signs, symbols of creation and light overcoming darkness.
Works by Spanish artist EDUARDO MOMEÑE "Portrait of Marina Abramovich with Candles" and French photographer Marina Kirchenblatt's portrait of M. Baryshnikov in the guise of an old woman, the heroine of Daniil Kharms's poem, are dedicated to the extraordinary abilities of artists reflecting the pain of humanity in their creativity.
The main idea of the project "Art Unites the World": the main value of the universe is humanity and its ability to preserve and transmit historical experience, cultural heritage, as a pledge for the future of the planet Earth.
Project organizers: Oksana Bogo - "Oxa Projects" and project author Marianna Gnezdilova, head of the culture committee of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
