ART UNITES THE WORLD. BOUNDLESS PUSHKIN
An international exhibition project within the BRICS cultural program

Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin transcends boundaries and nationalities. His works have found expression across various art forms, including visual art, literature, music, as well as theater, opera, and ballet. For people around the world, Pushkin is a codeword, a symbol of Russia, while also representing a part of their own culture. In the works of foreign authors, his characters take on national traits and characteristics of their cultures.
Pushkin is often associated with the concept of infinity in both spatial and temporal dimensions. From childhood, we become familiar with his fairy tale characters and grow alongside the heroes of his poems. Throughout our lives, we discover new meanings in his creations, especially through works by other authors inspired by Pushkin's legacy.
The exhibition in Kazan showcases works by 50 artists from 15 countries. Visitors will encounter pieces inspired by Pushkin’s image and themes from his works, presented in various genres, styles, and forms of contemporary visual art. These include graphics, painting, reliefs and sculptures, photography, multimedia and video installations, as well as sketches for monumental murals.
The project features esteemed members of art academies, students from Russian and international universities, and young artists from different countries—participants in the international youth competition "Art Unites the World: Limitless Pushkin," supported by Rossotrudnichestvo.
The international youth section of the exhibition includes works by students from China’s Moscow Surikov Art Institute, the Changzhou International Art Institute of China, and the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
This project aims to develop creative potential and support young artists, bringing together emerging talents, academic artists, and world-renowned masters. This large-scale art exhibition will demonstrate how relevant the "Limitless Pushkin" remains today, centuries after his time, serving as a vivid example of how art unites people of different nationalities and generations.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to receive free NFTs with digital copies of the artworks from the Russian blockchain platform "MirraCoin."
